The Latest Season Of Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Unless you see Brooklyn Nine-Nine, then you need to. It's one of the greatest comedy shows on tv right now. With a cast starring Andy Samburg (who can be a producer on the show), Terry Crews, and Andre Braugher, just how will you go wrong? Since year 4 ended on a cliffhanger, I couldn't hold out for season 5's premiere back in September. It has already been a crazy ride, with a cannibal cellmate, a marriage proposal, and a cell phone spy app utilized like a plot device. This series just gets better and better. Read on to my first thoughts on season 5 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Jake's Release From Prison

At the finish of season 4, Hawkins frames both Jake and Rosa at a bank robbery. They found guilty if they move to trial and therefore are both provided for jail. More than anything else, I still wanted to find how Jake could get a way outside. {I also really enjoyed his interactions with his jailmate, who is just a cannibal. While he works on an undercover mission for the jail warden, the rest of the 99 works on the cell phone spy app to start looking for signs of Jake's and Rosa's innocence on Hawkins' telephone number. Regrettably, both plans fall through.I'll not spoil the way they were freed, but it was a satisfying conclusion that will almost certainly show up again later on.

The Proposal

This part, but I'll stink -- it's simply too exciting to maintain myself. Since the show's very first installment, I thought Amy and Jake would be an ideal couple. They did not officially begin dating before start of season 3, but it was worth the wait. They're always supportive and looking to one another, though they have such diverse personalities. In the newest episode, the yearly Halloween,'' Jake finally popped the question. There clearly was no cliff hanger here. Amy immediately said yes and the couple announced their engagement to the remainder of the squad.

In general, Brooklyn Nine-Nine combines amusing comedy with interesting, fun plots and realistic character development. Season 5 surely doesn't disappoint thus far. If you haven't already, you watch the entire show, along side the newest episodes even on Hulu.
